Welcome to our Ukrainian Young Arts Workshop which was funded from the proceeds of a Members' Zoom meeting on Self Portraiture by Jacky Klein.
As horseshoes are a symbol of good luck in Ukraine it was agreed that the children would make horseshoes.
The horseshoes were made from cardboard and decorated with silk flowers, jewellery and mixed media.
The smaller children decorated animals.
A great day was had by all!
Talking of our Ukraine Appeal, a big Thank You is also extended to the members of Inner Wheel, Bedford who presented us with nineteen beautifully knitted blankets which were passed on for transportation to Ukraine.
Below you can see a few photos including of two of our members together with the knitted blankets.
