Get to grips with the art of printing
A podcast from Cristea Roberts Gallery gives unparalleled insight into the world of artist prints. Experts including writer and art historian Charlotte Mullins, art critic Jan Dalley and director and curator Jonathan Watkins speak about how printing has defined contemporary art, discussing the work of artists such as British Pop figure Richard Hamilton and the late, great Paula Rego. There are also new interviews with print-loving artists, including Christiane Baumgartner and Cornelia Parker (who we interviewed in the summer issue of The Arts Society Magazine – see here). This insightful podcast shows how the print is so much more than a copy of an original, being a complex and fascinating work of art in its own right.

Take a peek inside the art world with this new film
In the wake of the eye-opening and Emmy-nominated The Price of Everything comes a new documentary that follows a group of young artists who are on the brink of ‘unimaginable success or failure’, in a contemporary art world that is notoriously opaque and full of mysterious rules. From artists’ wellbeing to ruthless commercial galleries and discerning museum curators, this film sheds light on a complex and ever-moving industry.
