The committee are grateful to Sandra, one of our Members, for suggesting a private visit to Glynde Place where she is a volunteer guide.
We couldn't have wished for better weather and we all enjoyed a relaxed and informal visit to this lovely property which has stunning views of the surrounding countryside.
Sandra and two of her colleagues gave us very interesting tours and we learnt about the history of the property, its treasures and the family which lives there today together with their forebears.
After the tours we had tea and cakes, and then there was the opportuniy to visit the beautiful church of St Mary's.
