The Arts Society Lunesdale Lecture Sessions
1 Sep 2022
From September this year, Arts Society Lunesdale’s regular lectures will be delivered in two sessions – morning and afternoon. The reason for this is that the venue’s capacity is now insufficient to accommodate all members comfortably and safely in one session. This move was announced at the Annual General Meeting on 21st June this year; it followed a survey sent to all members asking for their views; 90% of responses supported the change. The new arrangements are as follows:
Session One: 11.30 a.m. – 12.45 p.m.
Session Two: 2.15 p.m. – 3.30 p.m.
Tea and coffee will be available 30 minutes before each lecture begins.
To avoid congestion in the car park, members who attend the morning session should leave by 1.15 p.m. at the latest, and those who attend the afternoon session should not arrive before 1.30 p.m.
Members may not change session without advance agreement with the membership secretary, Judie Graham-Clegg. Members are free to bring a guest, at a cost of £6.00 per lecture, by prior arrangement with the membership secretary. The same guest may attend up to three sessions in any one year.
If you wish to discuss session allocations, please contact Jenny Fisher. Committee contact details are on each member’s programme card.
