Berthe Morisot: "une finesse fragonardienne"
22 May 2023
On 10 May Lois Oliver was at the Capitol Theatre Horsham to tell over 270 members of the Horsham Arts Society about the work of Berthe Morisot, who was one of the founding members of the group that has become known as The Impressionists. She was also the only woman member. The lecture was a fascinating insight into the life and work of this very influential artist, whose work is the subject of an exhibition at Dulwich Picture Gallery.
