NORTH FRODINGHAM SCHOOL ARTS PROJECT
The pupils of North Frodingham School have just completed a project with local artist Katy Cobb.
The children were inspired by the design of the King’s Coronation invitations which featured flowers and insects. The pupils drew their designs of flowers and bees and butterflies onto sheets of paper which Katy then transferred to the outside walls of the school, surrounding the playground. The finished work is a stunning and cheerful piece of design, of which the pupils are justly proud.
The paint used should last for 15 years so some of the older children may be able to show it to their own children in years to come.
The Arts Society Driffield Wolds helped by sponsoring Katy and two committee members thoroughly enjoyed visiting the school and seeing the work in progress.
