Fashion, Fury and Feminism in Horsham
7 Mar 2023
Tessa Boase gave a talk in January to The Arts Society Horsham on Fashion, Fury and Feminism: Women’s Fight for Change, which covered the interesting story of the relationship between the feminist movement and the struggle for nature conservation in the first half of the 20th century, including some surprising details of the founding of the RSPB. We were also joined for this meeting by Florian Schweizer, the CEO of The Arts Society, who talked to us about The Arts Society and met with a number of our members before and after our talk.
