Isokon and the Bauhaus in Britain
In the 1930s, the Modernist Isokon building became the refuge of Bauhaus figures such as Walter Gropius and Marcel Breuer, who had fled Nazi Germany. This book, written by Leyla Daybelge and Magnus Englund, and published by Batsford (pavilionbooks.com), explores Isokon’s story and the legacy of the Bauhaus artists.
