Set within the grounds of a medieval manor, this arts fair showcases the talents of the UK’s finest professional designer makers and contemporary artists. Discounted entry to English Chamber Orchestra concerts (12 November and 1 December)
From Benjamin Britten and Luciano Pavarotti to Daniel Barenboim and Vladimir Ashkenazy, the English Chamber Orchestra has performed with many of the world’s leading performers and conductors. This season, Members of The Arts Society can enjoy 20% off tickets to two concerts: English Chamber Orchestra and Christian Zacharias: Classical Masters at Croydon’s Fairfield Halls (12 November) and Handel’s Messiah at London’s Cadogan Hall (1 December).
Performing works including, Haydn’s Symphony No.74 in E-flat major, Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.2 in B-flat major and Mozart’s Symphony No.40 in G minor, Classical Masters showcases the talents of the orchestra under the direction of pianist and conductor Christian Zacharias. On 1 December, the orchestra will perform Handel’s Messiah with singers from the Winchester Consort, a work filled with grandeur, tenderness and joy.
