South Devon Society launches a new Trail of Discovery for children

Throughout the summer of 2023, members of The Arts Society South Devon set about creating a Children’s Trail in the Roman Catholic Cathedral Church  of St Mary and St Boniface in Plymouth.

With the assistance of the Dean and his staff the trail was finished and then launched in the Autumn.

Thirty very enthusiastic children from a local school took part in the launch and the school staff and volunteers from South Devon Society were helped by the Dean, who even posed some additional questions of his own whilst accompanying one of the groups of children around the church!

After completing the trail, the children were treated to refreshments kindly provided by the Church, had the opportunity to ask questions, and were keen to help younger children enjoy the trail on another day.
