We survived the mud and the rain to give 12 Young Carers and accompanying staff from the Blackburn area a visit to Brockholes - an exciting Wildlife venue with floating buildings (part of the Lancashire Wildlife Trust). We enjoyed various outdoor adventures culminating in a bonfire with marshmallows and hot chocolate.

This Special Interest Day will consist of three lectures and run from 10:00 – 3:00pm with refreshments and a light lunch with wine. Cost in the hall will be £40 and on zoom £15.
As part of our ongoing adoption of the Basingstoke Railway Station and our commitment to encouraging art among young people in the town, in October, students from Basingstoke College of Technology displayed their latest work in the Waiting Rooms on platforms 1 and 4.
Their teacher, Hannah Middleton, expressed her gratitude to The Arts Society Basingstoke for organising the exhibition. She said, “The work looks brilliant in the frames, and it is such a fantastic opportunity for our students!”
