Marsh Awards 2024 Open for Nominations!
30 Jan 2024
We are pleased to announce that we are now accepting nominations for The Marsh Awards 2024!
This national award scheme is an exciting opportunity to acknowledge the dedication of those actively engaged with Arts Volunteering, Heritage Volunteering, Trails of Discovery, or running a Society who give the extra effort that makes a difference.
Who can be nominated?
Any Arts Society group of volunteers or an individual volunteer who are offering invaluable help with heritage conservation, trails of discovery or who encourage and enhance people's appreciation and understanding of art and our heritage, or any committee which has made an exceptional contribution to the running of its Society, UK or International, this year. Entries should focus specifically on the achievements of the volunteer/s and the difference they are making to the wider community.
Who can make a nomination? Any member of The Arts Society (not just Committee members) can make a nomination.
To nominate your selected group, individual or society please complete the nomination form by clicking here.
Please note you will need to be logged into The Arts Society Resources Area to access this page. If you do not have a login please email membership@theartssociety.org and we will send you a form to complete.
If you are not able to complete the on-line application, you can download it in either Word or PDF formats. You will find these in the downloads section below. Email the completed form to james@theartssociety.org
Nominations must be received by 31st May 2024 at 5pm (GMT)
NB: We will be unable to accept nominations via the post this year.
The award will be divided into four categories (for further information on the prizes please see the application form). The awards will be presented at the online Town Hall Meeting in the autumn.
Judging
All entries will be judged by a panel consisting of representatives from the Marsh Charitable Trust and The Arts Society but the final decision lies with the Award Trustees, ensuring independence and giving real value to the winners in terms of the recognition earned.
