For the third year running TAS Wessex Area has sponsored the first prize of £500 for the Bath Open Art Prize.
The Arts Society Grants
We believe in Arts for All and will use our grants to make a positive contribution to people's lives through the arts. Never has there been a greater need to support our local arts organisations and museums and continue the vital contribution of skills development in the arts and heritage sector.
Our Recent Grants
Working with the Bath Philharmonia, The Arts Society Bath supported a project working with local young carers.
TAS Hambleton use their Community Grant for a project that not only benefits the trainees at Northdale but also the pupils at a local Primary School.
The Arts Society Cumbria uses its Community Grant to promote the achievements of art students in Cumbrian schools via its annual Art Exhibition.
The Arts Society Mid Somerset used their Community Grant to fund a pottery workshop for a local school.
Using a grant from the Patricia Fay Memorial Fund, The Arts Society Dorset County supported the creation of a mural in a local children's ward.
